The Comics Lounge presents the biggest and best stand-up comedy shows Wednesday through to Saturday every week. 

George Kapiniaris’ claim to fame was his starring role in the hugely popular stage show ‘Wogs Out Of Work’. Since then, the Australian public has continued to see him use his Greek heritage as inspiration for future roles and performances. George’s film credits include ‘Alex and Eve’, ‘Big Mammas Boy’, ‘Thundersruck’, ‘Bloody Footy’, ‘Fat Pizza’, ‘Housos The Movie’, ‘Closer and Closer Apart’ & ‘Joey’ – George also appeared on the TV series ‘Its A Date!’.

Enjoy an evening full of laughs with a curated mystery line-up of some of the best comedians performing at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Joined by a few of the most talented and impressive performers from last year’s comedy festival as well. This mystery showcase will include some of the biggest new rising stars in comedy, as well as some of your favourite comedians from television and radio. In this two and a half hour live stand-up show, you'll lose yourself in a night filled to the bursting with fun and humour! There is simply no better way for you to find out who you should see during this year’s comedy festival!

If you are coming, just for show best to be at The Comics Lounge by 7.15pm for the 8pm show. We fill the venue from front to back as guests arrive. Show will finish around 10.30pm.

This is an adult only show (18+) with plenty of parking around the venue.
