    Wednesday 7 June
     - Saturday 10 June

Doors Open: 6:30PM. Dinner: 6:30PM. SHOW STARTS: 8PM

At only 30 years of age, Nick has already headlined comedy clubs all over the globe, made his US late night television debut on CONAN, performed at the invite-only Montreal Just For Laughs Festival and played to packed houses around the world on his solo stand-up tours.

Besides that, he has also been handpicked to support some of the biggest names in comedy, including international superstars Jim Jefferies, Bill Burr & Anthony Jeselnik.

He has also acted in some stuff, some of the shows were nominated for awards. Nick had nothing to do with that. Whatevs.

2016. Nick made his US late night television debut on CONAN, returned to the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, had two runs at The Soho Theatre in London, shot his second comedy special "What Of It?" at the Enmore Theatre and generally kicked ass at home in Australia & around the globe.

2015 saw Nick perform on the Melbourne Comedy Festival Opening Night Allstar Supershow (Ch 10), sell out his Australian solo stand-up tour "Beard Game Strong", take Edinburgh by storm in his debut with his show that was in the Top-10 highest reviewed at the Edinburgh Fringe, return to acting on the small screen in "Please Like Me" (ABC/Pivot) & the second series of TV sketch comedy hit Kinne (7Mate), represented Australia at the Johannesburg Comedy Festival and returned to Afghanistan to entertain the troops at Christmas.

In 2014, he shot his debut stand-up special "Here's Trouble" at the Metro Theatre in Sydney, starred in all six episodes of the smash-hit TV-sketch show "Kinne" on 7Mate, guest starred on Josh Thomas' award-winning comedy/drama "Please Like Me" on ABC2 and was invited to perform at the world famous Just For Laughs festival in Montreal.

This follows an action packed 2013, where Nick was invited by the Australian Defence Force to perform in Afghanistan for the troops and on top of that, became one of only a handful of Australians to be invited to perform stand-up on the US television network, Comedy Central. Once he returned from the US in November, he went back to the Middle East to perform for the Australian Defence Force onboard the HMAS Melbourne whilst it was at sea.

He has played to sold-out crowds at all the major Australian festivals over the last seven years with his full-length solo shows "Come Get Some" (2016), "Beard Game Strong" (2015), "Here's Trouble" (2014), "Inappropriate" (2013), "Sinful Thinking" (2012), "Back To School" (2012), "It’s Not You, It’s Her" (2011) and "Lust Actually" (2010). Nick has also toured extensively around Australia & Asia on the Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow and Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase tours.

His stand-up has been featured on the ARIA-nominated DVD 'Dave Hughes Is Handy' (Roadshow Films), ABC2's "Comedy Up Late" and "Best Of The Sydney Comedy Fest" & "Just For Laughs Sydney" on the Comedy Channel.

  • Akmal

    Wednesday 21 June
     - Saturday 24 June

Doors Open: 6:30PM. Dinner: 6:30PM. SHOW STARTS: 8PM

Movies, Sketch, Stand-Up, TV appearances, radio DJ and talk show host, improvisation and a published author, Akmal is one of Australia’s most respected, successful and accomplished comics.

Akmal has a fascinating past. Originally immigrating to Australia from Egypt with his family nearly 30 years ago.  He sums it up in his own inimitable style – “My parents didn’t tell us where we were going.  We thought it was two hours away.  Twenty hours later, we got off a plane and we were on another planet”. This, and many other bizarre incidents dot Akmal’s life – suggesting a career in stand-up comedy was pre-ordained, either that or he should have been committed early on

His Arab heritage steers his comedy to issues of religion, honesty, hysterical looks at modern day life. His uncanny comedic gift means he is one of those gifted comedians who has the audience eating out of the palm of his hand as soon as he walks on stage. He displays an incredible ability to deal with hot topics in a hilarious and non-offensive way.

Akmal’s popularity has increased considerably over the last 10 years due to his regular appearances on national television shows such as Rove, The Glass House and “Thank God You’re Here”. As a result Akmal has toured the country with numerous sell out tours including his “Hoot” and “Gullible” tours. Akmal wrote and starred in “All Aussies are Boofta” – a sketch comedy show which enjoyed three successful seasons and critical acclaim at the legendary Harold Park Hotel, the Parramatta Riverside Theatre and The Harbourside Brasserie

He has appeared at Festivals all around the world including Adelaide Fringe Comedy Festival and Melbourne Comedy Festivals, Montreal ‘Just For Laughs’ Festival, Vancouver Comedy Festival, New Zealand Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

    Wednesday 19 July
     - Saturday 22 July

Doors Open: 6 :30 PM. Dinner: 6 :30 PM. SHOW STARTS: 8 PM

Natural and unmistakably Australian, Hughsey’s laconic style thinly disguises one of this country's fastest comedic minds. Turning everyday foibles into rich and hilarious routines has made Hughesy the biggest name in Australian comedy. For 12 years Hughesy made up one half of Melbourne's Nova breakfast team and for 5 years he co-hosted Network Ten’s The Project, not to mention 11 years on Ten’s AFL show Before the Game.

While he never left stand-up behind, in late 2013 Dave shocked Australia by announcing that he would be giving up his radio and television jobs to go back to his roots touring a brand new stand up show for an entire year.

In 2015 Dave returned to the airwaves with long time co-host Kate Langbroek joining the team at KIIS and Mix FM in a national drive radio program and he joined the team at Channel 9's The Footy Show.

In 2016, Hughesy toured the country with a brand new stand up show Sweet; he continued his national drive radio show on KIIS and Mix which he will return to in 2017; Dave also regularly joined the panel on The Footy Show; and because that is obviously not enough, he hosted Australia’s Got Talent – the most successful entertainment format in the world today, for Channel 9.
